Big thanks to everyone who participated in our Saturday Chihuly Collection tour in St. Pete. We had one of our biggest turnouts with 21 attendees. Afterwards we enjoyed a true cajun dining experience at Chiefs Cajun Cafe at 901 22nd Ave. where we were greeted enthusiastically by the owners, Elihu and Carolyn Barboy. The owners were very friendly and knowledgeable in the local history. The food and service was fantastic and we highly recommend this dining experience!
Tour of the Henry B. Plant Museum in Tampa, Fl. We had an excellent turnout for this event. 20 club members and guests participated. Lunch at the Columbia Restaurant in Ybor City was a great experience.

Fisherman's Village Wharf & Military Heritage Museum

We had a great turnout for our February driving event to Fisherman's Village in historic Punta Gorda. Club members that attended: John & Michelle McCarthy, Lee & Sally Wolf and guests, Irwin & Hannah Ayers and Richard & Becky Krisel. We met at the Mobil Station on Clark Road in Sarasota and caravaned to Fishermans Village in Punta Gorda were we visited the Military Heritage Museum and then had a scenic lunch on the waterfront at Scotty's Brewhouse.
Fisherman's Village is a great place to visit with a variety of shops, waterfront dining and the Military Museum. This a fun destination day trip for a weekend drive. If you missed out on this event we hope you can find the time to visit.
