The 2011 Suncoast Jaguar Club Dan Ligas Memorial Concours D'Elegance will be held on Saturday, October 1st in St. Petersburg, FL at Straub Park on the waterfront adjacent to the St. Petersburg Yacht Club. 

      On Friday evening, September 30, there will be a welcoming reception co-sponsored by Crown Jaguar and Suncoast Jaguar Club and held at the St. Petersburg Yacht Club beginning at 5:30 p.m.  Concours Committee Chairman, Carl Tack, and the concours committee cordially invite all registered Jaguar Concours owners and guests to attend.  Complimentary food and entertainment will be provided, with a cash only bar also available for the concours weekend registrants.  Suncoast Jaguar Concours Registration forms are available on the club web site.  Please note on your Jaguar Concours Registration form if you and your guests will attend the Friday evening complimentary welcoming reception.

    On Saturday morning, the concours field on Straub Park will be open to receive Jaguar concours registered cars beginning at 8:00 a.m.   Please keep in mind that there also will be a separate "Walk for the Cure" event that takes place on the waterfront on Saturday morning.  Please be courteously conscious of the walker participants in that event, and wait as needed for police directions if the walker group is in progress when you arrive at Straub Park.  At approximately 10:30 a.m. an Owners Meeting will be held at the registration booth.  Chief Judge David Roth will describe the duties of the owners with respect to the judging of their cars by the judging teams.  Following the owners meeting there will be a Judges Meeting conducted by Chief Judge David Roth.  As a special recognition for early concours registrations, the first 50 SCJC Jaguar Concours registrants will receive a handsome Suncoast Jaguar Club 2011 Concours d'Elegance medallion.  

    Judging of cars will begin at approximately 11:00 a.m. October 1, and no further advance preparation of show cars is permitted after that time.  Food will be available for purchase by car owners and guests and the public at a cash only grill stand provided next to the Yacht Club. Judging will be completed by 2:30 p.m.  After that time owners may return their cars to the hotel or nearby parking and take leisure until the evening awards banquet.  The Jaguar Awards Banquet will be held beginning at 6:00 p.m. at the St. Petersburg Yacht Club at $55 per person.  Entree choices for your dining pleasure include meat, poultry, fish, and vegetarian selections. 

    Please also include the amount for the banquet with your Jaguar Concours Registration form.  A cash only bar also will be available at the banquet.  A silent auction fund raiser featuring Jaguar auto hobby and related items will be available for bidding by owners and their guests.  Following the dinner, awards will be presented to winners of the first three places in the Championship and Driven Classes. 

    In cooperation with Crown Jaguar of St. Petersburg, the Suncoast Jaguar Club looks forward to welcoming all Jaguar automobile enthusiasts and guests to the 2011 SCJC Dan Ligas Memorial Concours D'Elegance.
